The charity organizations can have the opportunity to raise donations to send aid to the survivors of the deadly 7.8-magnitude earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria on Monday in the early morning, collapsing thousands of buildings, killing several thousand people, and injuring thousands more. Countries also experienced another deadly aftershock of magnitude 7.6, which also flattened many buildings and killed and injured many people.
Everyone knows that rescuing the calamity-stricken people from the disaster and saving precious lives is a rewarding effort that pleases Allah (SWT). And we must turn to the holy book of Almighty Allah, the Holy Quran, for guidance in every matter of our lives, because the Quran, which is the essence of Islam, a complete code of ethics, and a book of guidance for the faithful, also guides us in our responsibilities towards humanity and each other. The teachings of the Holy Quran apply to all aspects of our lives, encouraging people not to give up hope in the face of adversity.
Here are some of the verses of the Holy Quran that indicate our responsibilities towards humanity:

The Right to the Safety of Life

In addition, calamities or natural disasters are indicators of how we must be aware of their realities to deal with the consequences and to settle everything in the right direction. Knowledgeable individuals could aid in minimizing the damage and repercussions caused by disruptive calamities. Undertaking the difficult tasks necessary to earn good deeds, anyone can earn a lot of respect and be honored for setting a good example for others to follow the right path of righteousness.
